Official trailer
What happens in the 30-second Apocalypse Hunters trailer: the hunter, the scanner, the cards and the screens, scene by scene.
The official trailer is thirty seconds long and does one thing: it shows a hunter walking through the dark, scanning for a beast, and then cuts to the cards and screens of the game. Below is what happens in it frame by frame, so you know what you are looking at before you press play.

What happens in the trailer
The first eight seconds are one continuous animated scene in a dark, overgrown place. It opens on a close-up of a hunter in a wide-brimmed hat and round goggles, the face lit from below. The camera pulls back: something with two large yellow eyes watches from the dark, and the hunter moves toward it with a glowing green disc that pulses in rings, like a scanner picking up a signal.
The title card follows: the game logo in neon green on a dark background. From there the trailer stops being a film and becomes a demonstration of the interface, and the rest of it is spent on the phone screen.
What the screens show
Roughly ten seconds in, a fan of cards appears, green-edged and framed as a hand. Each card carries a creature, a name and small numbers, which is exactly how the collection reads in the game: cards first, fights second. Then comes a phone with a map and a row of icons along the bottom, followed by a card list where a deck is being assembled.
The last part of the trailer shows the world map with streets and a highlighted hunting ground, and a glowing outline of a region that grows until it fills the frame: the location layer of the game, drawn as a territory you can claim.
The captions, in order
Five lines of text carry the whole message of the video. They are short and they appear on top of the gameplay:
- “Location Based CCG” — the genre, stated plainly, over the fan of cards.
- “Build your deck” — over the card list on the phone.
- “Protect your city” — over the map with streets.
- “Collect amazing cards!” — over a duel screen with creatures on both sides.
- “Download it now!” — on the end card, next to the App Store and Google Play badges.

What the trailer promises, in the studio’s words
The video description makes two claims worth knowing before you watch: that some cards are only available where you are, and that the location, and even the weather, can intensify a card. Both are ideas the game returns to constantly: the world around you is the board, and where you stand changes what you can collect.
It is worth saying what the trailer does not show. There is no duel explained step by step, no economy, no camp management. Those parts of the game appear in the developer notes and in the guides on this site, not in a thirty-second video made to introduce the idea.
Where to go after watching
If the trailer raised questions, the practical ones are answered in the guides: how a deck is built, what the camp produces, and how a duel is actually resolved.
- The game — what it is and how the parts fit together.
- Guides and tips — deck building, camp, duels.
- Developer notes — what changed after the trailer was published.
The trailer is from 2018 and the game has moved on since: the blog on this site collects the notes and updates that came after it, including the chapters and the PVP announcement.
